Got myself a hamster last week...
from SPCA.

Name: Pinky (Baby got the idea from the cartoon Pinky and the Brain, but he said that since it doesn't look too smart, so it shall be called Pinky. Pinky and the Brain are mice, but Baby said Hamsters are in the rodent family too... WTH. Even his mum also call it "Lao Shu". ITS A HAMSTER!!! 100 times cuter than mouse/mice or whatever! What's the Chinese Name for Hamster other than "Lao Shu"?)

Breed: Winter White

Gender: Bi-Sexual (the SPCA guys say its female, but the pet shop person say its male... so what?... Lol.)

Age: 5 weeks (as of 08 Oct 09)

Maybe they should connect all the major shopping centres together. Ion, Wisma, Taka, Paragon, Heeren, Cathay... Maybe the whole of Orchard... but not lucky plaza and Orchard Towers. LOL...

My next aim: Guess Bag and Levis Top. Might go Limited Edition Vault/Left Foot to find my stuff too...

anyway, got into a terrible fight/quarrel/argue (call it whatever you want) with baby.

becos' I couldn't tan.

Was suppose to go over baby's place to tan,

but he forgot about the condo card, which means that there is no way we could get up to our unit after we tan (you need the card to unlock the lift).

He said we would go over to his mom's workplace to get it but by the time we go over and com back, the sun would already be blocked by the buildings.

I sulked, he got pissed, i got angry, i cried, attempted to leave the house, got stopped, then we argued, he got even pissed, i cried even more, left the flat, he followed behind, cooled down, and we made up.

DUHS. Wad a tiring morning.

When there no quarrels or fights in a r/s, it gets a little mundane and boring - no excitement.

When there are quarrels and fights, its just so tiring - troublesome.

HAHA. Humans.

I guess its a balance.

I still love him thou.

a year ago, we met.
a year later, we are still together, and very much in love with each other (or maybe its just only me. LOL)

we sailed through plently of ups and also a hand full of down moments.
we stuck with each other throughout those ordeals.
and i am glad that we made past the first year without any glitches.
more years ahead, and we will sail through everything... as long as our feelings are the same as the day we met.

our 1st yr was celebrated over our favourite Japanese Cuisine dinner at Ebisboshi Shotengai @ Iluma and a Signature Cocktail flight at Singapore Flyer.
Dinner was great at Iluma. The restaurant was divided in three areas - Teppanyaki, Shabu Shabu and at mixture of Japanese food. We had Shabu Shabu. Its really really good and worth the money. Going back soon to try out other areas. Was too hungry, so we forgot about the photos. HAHA

My gift to Baby was to take him on his virgin ride on the Singapore Flyer.
The experience was excellent to the max!
WE HAD THE WHOLE CAPSULE TO OURSELVES!!
Everything was great... from the cocktails, to the service and the atmosphere.
This time, we din forget the photos.

I was at the Singapore flyer to catch Baby in action.
and also to prepare for our first year anniversary next Sunday.
Booked tickets for the flyer... but its no ordinary tickets...

Did not complete the marathon... URGH!

i just broke down at the 25km pit stop due to a torn tendon...

couldn't even bent my knees and lift my legs up sia.

to give up half way through the race where u are just 17km away from the finishing line feels damn sucky.

on a second thought i knew i gave my best...

i will conquer the 42km one day...

but first my legs need a long long break.

next year or maybe this year end, i will try for it again...

endurance is the key.

if only i gritted by teeth and endure the pain,

but at least i tried to.

i finally had my haircut with Jaren and the money was well spent!

3.45pm - miraculously fell asleep again

5.00pm - wake up/bathe/prepare dinner or to go to company

haha. better start studying soon

at least i may not feel so panicky when EG paper is near.

and the worse part is, i feel like a panic attack is around the corner again.

was talking to my mum just now,
and it left me wondering when did exams seems like a great deal to me these days?
last time exams are like nothing.
'die then die lo' mentality.
now its... 'if exams die, i really die liao'.
hais. maybe when u grow older, there's always such responsibilities that comes along with it.

anyway, after this ordeal,
i had more time to talk to my mum,
and somehow, the cold war between us just disappear.
i felt like i have known another her again, which is a good thing.
i make me realise how much i still love her (ok, i know it sounds mushy) and how much she cares for me. i will try to keep this 'peace' between us for as long as possible and i think i will like to spend more time with her to make up for the lost time.

and for baby,
i really think i found a gem.
someone who really cares for me, seen me through the good and bad times
and of course seen the beautiful and ugly side of me
but nevertheless, still standing by me all these while.
so much trouble i have caused you, but you are still here.

and for my friends, it made me realise that there are still friends and school mates around me that care.

all these care and concern which i receive over the past few days touched my heart and make me realise that sometimes life is not about getting good grades and all but to see, hear, and feel for the people around you. the rest are just the 'extra perks'
in life.
however, even though i understand, its hard in reality.
i know i need to relax more, and not take things too seriously, but its hard.
its tough and i am trying... people don't fail, they quit.

i love you guys. thank you so much.

thank you to my mum.

its like the eve-eve of my paper on friday, 2 papers on that day somemore! and my marketing paper has got to be a pass if not i am out of this program. SIAN!
and the best part is... for that 2 papers, i don't even know alot. haha... like maybe 20% only. wah!... i wanna cry already la...

sick.
went to see two doctors in two days.
first one was at jurong point. went there after school on wednesday.
bad sore throat and body aches.
the doctor said nothing but just gave me cough syrup, longzenges and pain killers for muscle aches.
then thursday, woke up feeling ok until late morning
where the fever got higher, very bad body aches and totally no voice.
plenty of medicine to take.
mayb i need more sleep and have to drink lots of fluid.

seems like everyone is sick

early afternoon was at IT Show.
met Wk on the way there and when we are about to go home.
ha...
the crowd was still ok when we reach, but when we left at 3 plus the crowd was beyond imagination.
and to make matters worse, the crowd control officals were a little thick in the head.

at night, was at Powerhouse, suppose to expect a big crowd from baby's friends by in the end left only shi yu, ting en, david and fredrick. and i tell you...
Powerhouse is really very bad now.
house full of "Muds", a drag queen and lots of girls whom i thought was suppose to be seen in lorong 22.
Drag queen, that was the worse lo.
there are gigs now at powerhouse and this drag queen performed "single ladies" by beyonce. "she" was FAT, UGLY AND DOWN RIGHT SCARY. i'm not rude or what but she's really horrific. and she was standing next to me before she perform. i turned my head and i almost got a heart attack. and you should see the bouncer's face... PALE GREEN! HAHA.
then there was this girl who stripped till she's in her bra... eh... its either she's drunk or crazy. not much boobs. LOL.
in 2 hours i sweat like i've run a marathon. sucky.

and i really made baby sad becos i was grouchy.
grr. i always loose my temper unnecessarily.

i'm going into a "i feel fat" mode.
which means, i'm starting on another bout of dieting process.

i know people will start saying i look fine, i look slim and all,
but somehow, i feel the need to diet.
the weighing scale doesn't lie, and in fact i've gained 2kg since the end of last year.
not much, but sufficient to make me go into a panic mode. moreover, people have made comments to me during the CNY that i seem to have put on a little weight. So yah...
haha. no drastic dieting methods, just eat healthier (no more ice cream and comfort food) and more exercise (also to prepare for my crazy 42km run).

baby's even worse. his voice has completely turned hoarse. haha. and i'm laughing at the sexiness of his voice.
and i keep on huh-ing because i can't hear him, which irritates him but tickles the hell out of me.

school started today.
was ok. but SIM is filled to the brim.
seems like a busy semester.

2 consecutive day of steamboat, and its making me a little "zher lat".
i miss the Sashimi i had with my uncle over the weekends at Sakuraya.
